Iquall Networks Holds 11th Edition of MATathon, Focused on Agents Solving Real Telco Problems

Miami, Florida, August 24, 2026. Iquall Networks successfully hosted the 11th edition of its annual hackathon, MATathon 2026, continuing a tradition that began with the first MATathon in 2015. This year’s event was celebrated in a hybrid format, engaging six teams from across the organization in a dynamic space designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and technological breakthroughs.

The challenge of MATathon 2026 centered on agents that solve real telco problems, moving beyond experimentation to confront the operational and commercial scenarios that operators face today. Participants built end-to-end agentic solutions powered by the MAT Suite, applying autonomous reasoning and multi-agent coordination to concrete network and service use cases.

Throughout the day, the six squads worked intensively to design, test, and demonstrate prototypes that combined the power of automation, artificial intelligence, and agentic orchestration. The winning team was formed by Moira Acher, Gastón Camargo, Martín Follonier, Christian Gómez, Antonela Diana, Joao Stanzione and Facundo Coacci, whose solution stood out for its technical execution and its direct applicability to a real operator scenario.

Beyond the technical achievements, MATathon 2026 reinforced Iquall’s long-standing belief in hackathons as engines of experimentation and as launchpads for future products and services.
